Born in Memphis, Tennessee, I was named after my father, Timothy Thompson, and the great state of Tennessee itself. In true Thompson fashion, I pilot my life...starting with enough confidence that Timothy should be a girl's name, coordination, sheer determination, unmatched creativity, and a lot of passion.

From private celebrations to nonprofit galas and corporate events, I have had the privilege of planning hundreds of memorable experiences locally and remotely in the valley. My favorite pastime? Wandering through online and in-store aisles for party supplies, dreaming up ways to bring joy and creativity to every event I touch.
For me, the magic of event planning lies in the details. One of my favorite moments is just before the event begins—after the decor is perfectly set but before the caterer arrives. I step back, inspect the final arrangement or chair cover, and marvel at how everything has come together. It’s at that moment I feel the culmination of hard work, vision, and passion—and it’s the same joy I want my clients to feel as they experience their event.
This is why I plan events. It’s not just about logistics or checklists—it’s about creating unforgettable experiences that reflect the people and stories behind them. My dedication and expertise have earned me the nickname “The Planner”—a testament to the care, precision, and passion I bring to every project. I believe exceptional work starts with listening. As the Director of Events and DEI Consultant at Timmesse Events LLC, I’ve dedicated over a decade to helping people and organizations bring their visions to life. Whether it’s planning a celebration, managing a corporate event, or developing operational strategies to create a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive workplace, my goal is to create spaces where people feel valued, seen, and celebrated.
I believe exceptional work starts with listening. I take the time to understand my clients’ unique needs, ensuring that every event or DEI initiative reflects their vision and values. Through DEI-focused operational support, I help organizations embed inclusive practices into their daily operations—strengthening team dynamics, enhancing communication, and ensuring equitable processes at every level.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Behavior and a Master’s in Education in Human Relations from Northern Arizona University. This academic foundation has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior, DEI, and the importance of fostering meaningful connections. These skills are at the heart of my work, enabling me to create events and strategies that are not only innovative but also inclusive and transformative.
